Planning your courses
How does Steadfast turn my syllabus into a plan?
Upload your syllabus (PDF, Word, or text) or paste it in. Steadfast reads it and pulls out the readings, assignments, due dates, required books, and professor notes. It then spreads everything across your semester based on the days you study and how fast you like to read — nothing vague, every reading has exact chapters or pages.
Can I use more than one syllabus?
Yes. You can upload several syllabuses — up to five PDFs — and each one becomes its own course. Steadfast combines them into one plan so your readings and papers never pile up on the same day.
What happens if I fall behind?
Nothing scary. Anything you didn't finish simply moves forward and shows up in your To do list until it's done. Your streak resets quietly, there's no guilt, and the rest of your week rebalances automatically.
Does my plan change when dates change?
Yes. If an assignment's due date or prep date changes, edit it in the app and your timeline, week, and daily to-do update automatically. If a professor hands out a revised schedule, just re-upload or paste the new syllabus.
Will my plan sync between my phone and laptop?
Yes. Your plan, courses, and progress are saved to your account, so signing in on any device shows the same up-to-date plan.
Can I get reminders on my phone?
Yes. In Setup you'll find 'Reminders on your phone', which adds your plan to your phone's calendar with alerts the morning of each task and the day before each due date. It works with iPhone and Android calendars.
What is 'Ask Me Anything'?
It's a helper focused on organizing your semester. Ask it things like what to tackle first this week or what a confusing syllabus line means. It answers from your own schedule and syllabuses — it won't help with homework answers or write anything for you.
Payments
How much does Steadfast cost?
Plans are $9.99/month, $24.99 per 3 months (about $8.33/month), or $49.99 for the school year (about $4.17/month). Every plan includes unlimited courses, syllabus import, automatic scheduling, and phone calendar reminders — you just pick the billing rhythm.
Which plan should I choose?
Monthly is flexible if you only need it for a short stretch. The 3-month plan covers a full semester — actually, more than one — and the school-year plan is the best value if you'll use Steadfast all year.
Is there a free version?
Yes. You can plan one course for free, with no time limit. Upgrade whenever you need a second course.
How do payments work?
Payments are handled by Paddle, our merchant of record. Paddle processes your card, sends your receipts, and handles taxes — we never see or store your card details.
Can I cancel?
Anytime. Cancel from the billing page (Setup → Billing, or the Upgrade page once subscribed) and you'll keep full access until the end of the period you've already paid for. No further charges after that.
How do I update my card or see my invoices?
Open the billing management page from the Upgrade page. Paddle's portal lets you change your card, download invoices, and manage your subscription in one place.
Refunds & cancellations
What is your refund policy?
Every paid subscription comes with a 30-day money-back guarantee. If Steadfast isn't working for you, request a refund within 30 days of your order date and you'll get your money back in full.
How do I request a refund?
Visit paddle.net or email Steadfastplanner@gmail.com with the email address you used to purchase and your order reference if you have it. Refunds are processed through Paddle, our payment provider.
Do renewals qualify for refunds?
Yes — first purchases and renewals are both covered within the 30-day window from the charge date.
What happens to my plan if I get a refund or cancel?
Your account stays open on the free tier. Your courses remain visible, and you can keep planning one course — you'll just be limited to one course until you subscribe again.
